In a recent visit to the school retired archbishop Ebere Nze interviewed the principal of Amuzukwu girls secondary school Umuahia Abia State. We also caught up with some of the children we sponsor their education in the same school. They had quite a bit to say (Please watch the video). There are so many other children and others in dire need of help in various ways and Lovenah care has as its paramount goal to reach out to as many less privileged in Nigeria and the globe in general. Nothing is too small or too big, may you give as you are led by the spirit. Whatever you give will be much appreciated and will go a long way in reaching out to more of these vulnerable children in various communities and others in dire need in Nigeria and the globe in general. We thank you for your generous giving and support.

The School for the Blind Umuahia is an off-shoot of the special education centre for the deaf, mentally retarded and the blind Orlu which was established by the then Ministry of education Owerri, Imo State.this three co-existed in one compound. But due to differences in their needs and constant friction between the deaf and the blind students, the blind section of the school was re-allocated its present site in 1981. The School for the blind Umuahia came to be in Umuahia on the 11 th of May 1981 with student population of 25 students, 6 teaching staff and 11 non-teaching staff. The establishment of the school was made possible by Dr. Mrs Rose Ekeleme who was then Director of Special Education in Imo State.
